Contract work for Reed and Victor Chandler between Nov 2007 to Feb 2008

Reed Managed Services (Dec 2007 - Feb 2008)

• Help to redevelop Reed internal recruitment system - was sole front end dev working with other java devs.
• integrate legacy (as well as new) code into new design.
• Develop bespoke functionality in javascript.

Examples of Reed Work

• Xpress homepage (old) The Reed internal recruitment system was being re-developed with a fresher look and cleaner code.
• Xpress homepage (new) The front end was heavy on javascript and forms. Code was also fragmented across multiple java files.
• Xpress Manager section A typical section of the site, giving an idea of the complex functionality within.
